Ponce Inlet Portraits | Ormond Beach Photography Company

We fell in love with the look and feel of this little gem, that is tucked away in Ponce Inlet, years ago, as locals. But as an Ormond Beach Photography Company, we are fervently grateful for this beautiful slice of Florida’s east coast. Why? Because it is the perfect location for a family portrait session.

It’s important to us that our portrait sessions feel relaxing and fun. I think that there’s also a necessity for it to truly embody Florida’s coastal vibe. Over the years, we have had the oppertunity to photograph many families. But it never ceases to bring us joy when we watch little ones enjoy the beach. Everything mesmerizes children at the beach, especially if it’s not somewhere they visit often. It reminds us of our own little one and how much he loves to play in the sand and splash in the ocean.

I peronsally love to watch our little guy run around in the water! He is always grinning from ear to ear. Our neices and nephews love the water just as much. They aren’t even afraid of jelly fish!

Sadly, for this family, the weather had been a little dreary during their stay. And, the water has been exceptionally rough lately. So, they hadn’t been able to really enjoy a beach day in the sun like you would typically expect. Luckily, we were able to experience great weather during our session. And, it was a chance for their little fellow to get a little fun in. He was loving it! Running around and finding shells, he had us all moving!

Many times, when photographing children, it’s important for us to stay on our toes. As a Ponce Inlet Family Photographer, We have to be ready to capture that sweet moment in a hurry! Kids are always on the move and so we like to give them things to do while we shoot. Telling them to look for shells is a lot more exciting then telling them to stand still and smile! Plus, once they warm up to us we can usually get them to pose for a couple of traditional portraits.

We love being an Ormond Beach Photography Company and being able to meet so many amazing families. What are your kids favorite things about the beach?
