Being a Longboat Key Photographer is so rewarding because you are able to capture family portraits in one of the most beautiful locations. This family traveled from Ohio and wanted to persevere their precious season of life at the beach. I feel honored every day that families choose me to create something that they will cherish forever.

When this sweet mom contacted me she expressed some concern about her youngest being a toddler. Because I am a mom myself, I completely understand the stress of family photoshoots with toddlers. After all, babies and toddlers don’t always want to sit still and smile for the camera. However, that’s what makes beach photoshoots so perfect because kids can’t help but smile at the beach!

This photoshoot was magical and I am excited to share these breathtaking portraits. From the sunrise itself to the stylish outfits this Longboat Key photography session is nothing short of perfection. Additionally, we lucked out with crowds and had the entire beach to ourself.

It isn’t every day that you experience a beach without any beachgoers and it truly added to the ethereal feel. The kids had so much fun and we were able to capture a wide variety of both poses and candid moments.
