As a Hutchinson Island Photographer, we love capturing family portraits for special occasions. Especially an occasion as special as a 90th birthday trip. Imagine how special it is to be surrounded by the loving family you created on your 90th birthday trip.

This was an extended family with 28 people. It isn’t easy to plan anything for 28 people but this family planned their photoshoot a year in advance in order to make sure everything went perfectly. I always recommend having a back up date in place, just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate but luckily, we didn’t need it.

Several phone meetings were involved to coordinate the details and a list was drawn out to make sure we captured all of the most important groupings and poses. With a family of 28, a list is very helpful to maintain order and efficiency with a list. When families are on vacation, it is helpful to keep the photoshoot process speedy and stress-free.

The outfits that were chosen are wonderful and it can be tricky to coordinate outfits with several families across several different states. The final result is wonderful and everyone did a great job.

Once we captured all of the groupings on our list, we had some fun at the end with some candids. It’s so important to have fun during your beach photoshoot because after all, that’s what you came to Florida to do! As a Hutchinson Island photographer, I truly have an incredible job and it is so rewarding to capture moments like this for families from all over the country and world.
