Couple beach photoshoots are always so much fun! I had an amazing time capturing portraits for this couple during their vacation to Indian Rocks Beach.

Indian Rocks Beach is on the gulf coast and the sunsets on the gulf coast of Florida do not disappoint. In the beginning of the shoot, we had bright and beautiful sunlight which added a nice airy feel. Then as the sun started to set, it just kept on getting prettier.

The sunset began to make everything look like a coastal oasis from a fairy tale and that’s when the magic started to happen. This couple traveled from West Virginia to enjoy these stunning sea views and it was my job to give them something amazing to commemorate their trip with.

After we captured some pretty photos near the water, I just had to get a few with the sea oats too. No matter which beach I am photographing at, there is always so much beauty and variety to fill the background with. Then we finished up with the reflective water just as the sun was setting over the horizon and of course I was DYING with how gorgeous this shot is.

Thousands of sunset photoshoots under my belt and I will never stop getting excited at how incredible nature is and how thankful I am that I get to do this for a living. Being an Indian Rocks Beach Photographer is a dream come true because you are helping people relive their happiest moments forever.

Now that summer is winding down, it is exciting to start photographing beach portraits in a slightly less humid climate. Luckily, the weather worked out perfectly for this photoshoot but sometimes it doesn’t.

Furthermore, we always recommend having a back up date just in case an afternoon thunderstorm decides to interfere with the photoshoot process.
