As a Marathon fl family photographer we are OBSESSED with Sombrero Beach. It’s a stunning family photoshoot location in the Florida Keys. The beach is perfect and it’s sprinkled with breezy palm trees and views of the beautiful mangroves.

When we go on vacation as a family, my hope is that we leave with lasting memories and lots of amazing photos. When you visit the Florida keys, it’s almost impossible not to leave with lasting memories and enough photos to fill an entire album.

Making Memories in Marathon

This family was visiting from Oklahoma and had never been to Marathon before. I was excited to capture some unforgettable moments that they could bring back home with them. Especially moments that capture the stunning setting of Marathon, FL.

With towering palm trees and expansive coastal views, the background is impeccable at Sombrero Beach. As a Marathon fl Photographer, we know there is something special about sunsets in the Florida Keys. The way the light hits everything at golden hour in Marathon, FL is pure magic.

I think we can all agree that children grow up way too fast. That’s why it is so important to take the trips, take the photos and make the memories before the next season of life begins. It was a pleasure to photograph such a close knit family with teens that were more than happy to pose and smile for mom. Teenagers aren’t always enthusiastic participants when it comes to family portraits but these teens were a breeze to work with.
