As a Daytona Beach family photographer, we love capturing all of the fun and whimsical moments that happen at the beach. Daytona Beach is a wonderful spot to catch a stunning sunrise and these portraits are proof of that.

I met this wonderful family at their condo bright and early for a sunrise photoshoot on the beach.

As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by a vibrant sun peeking out over the rippling Atlantic Ocean. I had a feeling that these portraits were going to be magical with a backdrop like that.

This family was a pleasure to work with and I was extremely impressed with how well the kiddos behaved. Considering how early everyone had to wake up to get ready, I was very impressed with the adults as well!

Whether you are a morning person or not, there is no way to deny that the beauty of a Daytona Beach sunrise is worth waking up early for. Just look at these magnificent reflections and the sunlight on the waves!

I get excited when I see cute accessories tied into family beach photo outfits, like floppy sun hats for example! This sun hat did not disappoint, look at how cute these photos are.

It was adorable to see how close knit this family is and it made my job of capturing heartfelt moments easy.

Daytona Beach is a very popular tourist destination that draws millions of people to visit each year. However, in the stillness of the early morning hours, you’ll likely have the beach to yourself.

Just a few joggers and bicyclists pass by but other than that, your only company is sand pipers and seagulls. Sunrise is an awesome time of day for beach portraits if you want to avoid the crowds and summer thunderstorms.
