Family Beach Photography in Daytona Beach

I want to share a few highlights from a photography session that I captured this spring for a family of 4 that was visiting the Daytona Beach area on Vacation.

Many of our clients are visiting Daytona Beach on vacation and want to make the most of the scenic beach setting by capturing family portraits. We have suggested Lighthouse Point Park as a preferred location for many years, as it truly offers the most diverse backgrounds in the area.

The sand dunes at Lighthouse Point Park are the best in the Daytona Beach area and create a picturesque coastal backdrop. The wooden boardwalk winds through palm scrub and sea oats with a distant view of the second tallest lighthouse in the country. In addition to the large waves of the Atlantic Ocean, you also have the calm waters of the inlet to capture family photos in front of. I enjoy the sailboats that often dot the inlet waters, as they add so much charm to the background.

I adored the white sundresses that the girls wore, perfect for a Daytona Beach photography session. The setting sun really brought out the coastal colors of the beach and lit the clouds up with shades of lavender.

Some of our clients don’t visit the beach very often, so these beach portraits are the perfect memento to bring home with them. There is so much beauty at the beach that it’s easy to feel inspired as a Daytona Beach photographer.
