Traveling to New Smyrna Beach with your dog? You may be wondering New Smyrna Beach Dog Friendly Restaurants, Hotels and beach parks.

In this post, I am going to cover:

  • New Smyrna Beach dog friendly hotels
  • New Smyrna Beach dog friendly restaurants
  • New Smyrna Beach dog friendly hotels

There are plenty of dog friendly restaurants and hotels in New Smyrna Beach. One of our favorite things to do with our dogs is to head to the New Smyrna Beach dog beach to watch the sunset.

New Smyrna Beach has a small town atmosphere and most accommodations on the island are privately owned vacation rental homes and condos. Bed and Breakfasts also welcome guests with true New Smyrna Beach charm.

Night Swan Bed & Breakfast

Night Swan is located on scenic riverside drive, in the heart of the historic district. They allow big dogs. Riverside drive is one of the most underrated destinations in New Smyrna Beach. If you keep your eyes peeled, you can almost always spot dolphins frolicking in the water. Night Swan is also about a 10 minute drive to the New Smyrna Beach dog beach.

Hampton Inn New Smyrna Beach

Conveniently located right on Flagler Avenue, in the heart of all of the action. Walking distance to beaches, shopping, bars and restaurants. Right down the road from the New Smyrna Beach dog beach.

Anchor Inn New Smyrna Beach

Located in historic downtown New Smyrna Beach and close to Canal street shopping, eateries and events. The New Smyrna Beach dog beach is also about 10 minutes away.

New Smyrna Beach Dog Friendly Restaurants

New Smyrna beach is a laid back surf town with an artsy flair. Plenty of New Smyrna Beach restaurants exemplify that laid back charm and allow pets.

New Smyrna Beach Brewing Company

Located minutes away from both Night Swan and Anchor Inn, on historic Canal Street, is NSB brewing company. Dogs are allowed both inside and outside. They serve beer and wine.

Yellow Dog Eats

Seating out front and in the back garden area allows dogs. You will instantly fall in love with the quirky decor and fun atmosphere. The BBQ nachos are a favorite of mine but I haven’t tried anything that I haven’t loved at Yellow Dog Eats. It’s one of the restaurants that we always bring friends and family to during their visits.

Third Wave Cafe

This beachside eatery is a local favorite and offers plenty of outdoor seating that welcomes dogs. Tasty pizza and ocean breeze? Sign me up.

The Taco Shack

This quaint outdoor restaurant can have lines out into the parking lot. Locals frequent the taco shack and they can bring their dogs too because all of their seating is under a covered open air patio.

Norwood’s Restaurant & Treehouse Bar

Looking for fresh seafood? Norwoods is one of the best restaurants in New Smyrna Beach and they offer outdoor seating with incredible ambiance.

New Smyrna Beach Dog Beach

Located just minutes from popular Flagler Avenue is my favorite beach park in New Smyrna Beach. Smyrna Dunes Park is located at 2995 S. Peninsula Drive in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Our dog Blake enjoying the New Smyrna Beach dog beach

This dog beach offers plenty of amenities for dogs like a place to refill water bowls, dog waste stations and it’s on the inlet side with calmer water.

The entrance fee is $10 per vehicle and dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk during the day. There is a sandy walkway that leads to the dog beach right beside the wooden boardwalk. There are rules and a map posted in the parking lot. You can also ask for tips and directions at the toll booth.

If you are a Volusia County resident, you can purchase an inlet park annual pass for $25.
